A full programme of Green Events takes place in Llanwrtyd Wells, Including Mountain Bike events, Motor Bike rallies, Car rallies, Horse riding and Walking. For people who wish to observe, there are visits to Gold Mines and Mountain Caves in secret places. There are furnished picnic spots beside rivers and forests. There are views from mountaintops. There are Red Kite feeding stations. There is canoeing and golf a small distance away. Morris Dancers and live Bands appear frequently and Beer and Food Festivals are legendary. Ask for details. This is a small Town, but it is all happening.

For something different you can participate (or Watch!) the World Bog Snorkelling Championship in August. And of course there is the famous Builth Wells Royal Welsh Show, with its thousands of visitors, including Royalty. Book up now for this week as everywhere is crowded and we need your bookings in advance to be sure to accommodate you.

If all this activity makes you weary, then just relax in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet, along with the Butterflies, bumblebees, frogs, toads, rabbits, hedgehogs, voles, and birds.

There are also frequent trips by the nearby Mid Wales Railway in Steam Engine trains.
Horse riding and Pony Trekking are located nearby. And don't miss a visit to the only working Woolen Mill and department store in Wales located just down the Road- about ½ mile.
