LLANWRTYD HALL COUNTRY HOUSE is a 150 year old Manor House Hotel and B&B situated in Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys, Mid Wales. Decorated in Lavish Victorian style with all modern conveniences (and artistic licence).

It stands in its own large grounds, facing the Eppynt Mountains. All rooms face to the South...and the Sun. The garden is a bird watchers paradise. The Evening Vespa and the Morning Chorus of a thousand singing bird voices are heard in all their simplicity and clarity. The stars are a myriad of shining lights on a clear night with no road lights to interfere with their glory. The Red Kites fly overhead in the daylight with their haunting cries. There are two Red Kite feeding Centres nearby. The views are spectacular across open country to the Eppynt Mountains. Our own gardens are quiet and very green surrounded by beautiful trees. You can park safely in our private free car park with the benefit of cameras and lights, although this town is a very low crime area. There are several pretty sitting areas outside for snacks or al fresco dining (including smoking).

Facilities include free wi-fi, books and local area brochures of every exciting adventure, from horse and bike riding to walking and picnics.

The famous Bromsgrove School used this house as a Junior School during the last war and many now famous Politicians and Rear Admirals slept here. We keep all the School memorabilia here, and you are welcome to visit.

We offer an exciting/romantic escape from town life for Adult Visitors . Whilst we do not have facilities for young children, pets and dogs are welcome free of charge in some rooms, (please enquire).
